FAQ
What's the big deal about specialized career education today?
At PCI, our curriculum is specifically designed to meet the needs of students who are job-oriented. Our students are looking for a school that won't require them to take unnecessary general education courses and instead focuses on job-specific knowledge and skills. What students learn here can be immediately applied in their future careers.
Why won't my high school diploma be enough?
Studies tell us that continuing your education after high school can make a big impact on both job security and the potential for earning a higher salary. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May 2010, the unemployment rate for workers with only a high school diploma was 9.7%. This rate dropped significantly as their level of education increased. The same report found that the median weekly earnings for those with only a high school diploma were $626, while those with an Associate degree or equivalent earned $761. Convinced, yet?
